your first step to start the application process
We are so excited about your interest in participating in this year’s competition!
You’ve reached this section of our updated website to initially apply as a participant and/or group. This portal will also offer additional opportunities as the event unfolds, both this year and beyond: viewing the preliminary schedule, seeing the finalists list, and reviewing your own judges’ comments after each stage of the competition.
NEW IN 2020:
Even if you’ve participated in a previous Spotlight on Talent competition, this year you are required to create a “participant account” with an email address and password to establish a login, allowing you to access the 2020 applications.
NOTE – each act will need to use a unique email address for applying. If necessary, you can create additional free email addresses from websites such as yahoo.com, google.com, or outlook.com (you must be 13 years old or older to create email addresses with those sites).
