The winning artwork is an acrylic painting of pearl craft stickers on a 12″ x 16″ canvas. Linsdey loves all art forms, and her primary field of interest is illustration. Specifically she would like to go into visual development as a concept artist in the future. Congratulations Lindsey.
Colette Hanke
This winning artwork is a 16x20in acrylic painting. It was created as a way to practice value and experiment with the cell shading paint style. Colette used white charcoal pencil to sketch out the piece , then blocked out the light and shadow to help with the painting process. Colette has always had a fascination for art ever since she was a kid, and hopes to be able to study it further in the future. She is passionate about painting and likes to experiment with all mediums. Congratulations Collette.
HACA and our Community would like to thank the Suncoast Credit Union for their generosity through a grant to award these high school seniors with $1,000 each to pursue a future in the visual arts. We could not be more grateful.
